Hi Everyone,
For all of you who have been waiting with baited breath for the launch of our Fancy Rats website entitled ohhrats.com (note the double "h" please), it should be online shortly. It is my understanding that it can take up to 48 hours to become "live" out there in cyberspace.
Please feel free to email your questions and comments to our Oh, Rats! blog, and we will be adding other pertinent websites and photos to our blog as they become available.
Best regards,
Mary Ann

The semester ends!
Well, actually the semester officially ends at 11:59 this evening but all papers, presentations, discussions, etc. are done and submitted, so I guess it's over until the fall semester starts the upheaval all over again. Just think, I signed up for this . . .
Now it's time to play "catch up" with all the projects, research, reading, and anything else that was sidelined until this semester break. The publishing company will be set up, the fancy rat endeavor will be better organized, and there will be time for us to go fossil hunting, visit the gem mines, take photos, and maybe get some rest but not necessarily in that order. This vacation will not include packing, moving and unpacking although the last of the boxes are presently being unpacked as I type but we'll actually be able to explore the new area in which we live. That will include joining the local fencing club - engarde! It's been months since we have had the opportunity to sabre fence, and this new group is not too familiar with sabre, just epee and foil. It's time to go sharpen my sword . . .
Ciao,
Mary Ann

TGIF
The computer system is back up and running, and I actually managed to attend my online class the other evening. I never thought a plumber could murder a computer but how wrong I was. The debate is should I call the plumbing company and tell them that their plumber's mistake cost me a thousand dollars for a new computer or should I just absorb the cost? If I wait much longer, it will be too late to consider further.
Monday will allow a Fedex shipment to send twenty reptiles to their new home, and relieve a stressful situation here with trying to feed on a regular basis without consistent access to a food source to keep them healthy and thriving. This is a bit late in the season for a ball python to bless us with five goose-sized eggs besides. However, that does put us a bit closer to producing our "snow-balls" during the coming months.
Well, it's off to the barn to care for all the new babies who are up and coming members of The Educated Rodent project.
Ciao for now . . .
